Dex Marchan is a Trinidad & Tobago-born, London-based steelpan performer, educator and workshop leader with more than four decades in pan.

His work spans steelband, solo and ensemble performance, education, community programmes and official cultural engagements.

From Trinidad & Tobago to London

Dex developed within Trinidad & Tobago steelpan culture and has performed in major pan settings including National Panorama and the World Steelband Music Festival. His steelband experience includes Phase II Pan Groove, Pan Elders, Skiffle and Super Vybes.

His wider career includes documented High Commission, CARICOM and Commonwealth appearances alongside weddings, corporate events, schools and community work.
